Q: What does it mean when a computer’s screen goes totally white upon occasion?

A: If it’s a laptop, then it’s most likely a faulty motherboard, specifically the video component of the motherboard. Screens turning a solid color and locking up the system is almost never a software problem.

I’ve never been much of a joiner and though there were a few spells in my life when I was driven to conform to a set of arbitrary rules set by people I didn’t really respect much…I think I’ve done relatively well as a non-conformist.

The problem is, well, when I get derailed in some sense–be it a heartbreak or a major fucking disappointment–I begin to be more susceptible to people who foist their idea of normalcy on me.

There’s a phrase that’s right out of Christmas lore and it’s a phrase that I know too well. Reindeer games. Remember when those freaking “normal” reindeer ostracized Rudolph for not looking like them? They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games. Well, let’s just say I feel like I’m Rudolph and I don’t think I’m getting a nose job anytime soon. Sure, reindeer games may be fun…especially if that’s really the only game you can play well.

Never again.

Though I didn’t exactly froth at the mouth when I came across this stamp as I was mindlessly surfing the Net, I must confess that I couldn’t help but do a secret wiggle when I saw this piece of art. I think it’s pretty cool. The Big Bad Wolf sure looks cute.
